Lime Soap Cubes
This is one of my favorite simple projects. It's perfect for a class, a girls’ night, or even just a fun afternoon activity with your kids. It’s easy, low-mess, and everyone gets to take home something they’ll actually use.
What You’ll Need:
- Melt-and-pour soap base
- Lime essential oil
- Silicone molds (cube molds work great!)
- Optional: natural colorant or dried herbs
Directions:
- Cut the soap base into small chunks.
- Melt it slowly (microwave in short bursts or use a double boiler).
- Let it cool slightly, then add a few drops of lime essential oil.
- Stir gently and pour into molds.
- Let sit until fully hardened.
- Pop out and they’re ready to use or gift!
A Quick Note on Use
When using essential oils, a little goes a long way. For topical products like soap, keep amounts low and always use as directed. Lime oil can be photosensitive, so it’s best to avoid direct sun exposure on freshly applied skin.
